The world
The model starts at a system state of 68. Round 8 applies a reduction proportional to the shock parameter. Subsequent rounds combine a recovery term, interaction strength, and seeded noise. The index is not a real inventory quantity or a recovery probability.
What you can change
Higher interaction strength represents faster coordination and adjustment. System size changes the feedback and noise scales. Keep the seed and round count fixed when comparing two configurations so the parameter change is easier to inspect.
How to read the result
Compare the minimum state, final state, and mean change between rounds. Try multiple seeds to inspect sensitivity. The model omits shipping routes, prices, geography, and capacity limits. Use it to discuss mechanisms and define questions for a more complete model.
